MUsic & your mind
After being assigned an informational design project with an open ended topic, I decided to research the effects of music on mental health. This topic is important to me as I have personally seen the benefits music has had on my own mental health. After conducting my research, I decided to create a visual, interactive layout to display my findings that would be displayed on a kiosk in a common area on a college campus, such as a dining hall, study space, or dorm building. My goal behind this project was to inform others, specifically other young adults like myself, the benefits music can have on mental health, especially as we have been transitioning through the pandemic.
